Happy Valentine’s day, guys!! How are you spending your day today? Normally, hubs and I would go out to a restaurant for dinner, but not this year. It’s all-star weekend in Charlotte, and there are major street closures starting today and major crowds. Instead of going out, we’ve opted to have a nice dinner at home in our dining room. I’m going to light some candles, eat some take out and call it a night!
So, let’s get into the dress. Its by Calvin Klein and it’s actually sheer. Yes, see-through! Why a dress like this would be sheer, I have no idea. I am wearing a black slip underneath, so you can’t tell. I think it’s a bit odd that it’s sheer, but I bought it because I tried it on and it was super cute! I paired it with my favorite white booties. I’ve been having a hard time finding the link for the dress, but I’ll keep searching. Once I find it, I’ll update the post and link it.
How cute is the backdrop though!? This shoot was done in South end and it’s the confetti hearts wall. It was painted by local artist Evelyn Henson. Check out the hashtag #ConfettiHeartsWall on Instagram to see all the fun.
